Average car in a competitive class - good at most things, but outstanding at none.

Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

The Laguna was the first car to achieve a five-star rating in EuroNCAP's independent crash tests and it's still one of the safest cars in its class. As standard, it gets ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, anti-whiplash head restraints, front, front-lateral and front/rear curtain airbags, with de-activation for the front passenger seat. It also gets two sets of ISOFIX child-seat mounts, while rear lateral airbags are an option. To keep tea-leaves at bay, it has remote central locking, deadlocks, immobiliser and an alarm as standard.
