Good value on paper, the Camry almost stacks up in the real-world.

It might sell like hot cakes in the US, but the Toyota Camry is a pure stale-bun seller in this county. Pitched against pseudo-executive cars like the Vauxhall Omega and Peugeot 607, the Camry is one of those oddities which seldom succeeds in the UK - an executive car from a non-executive manufacturer. After all, most people who want a posh car with Toyota reliability, buy something posh. Like a Lexus.
However, that's not to say that the Camry is without merit. Those that buy Camrys love them to bits. It's superbly well-built, and amazingly quiet. It's not as sporting as your average saloon at this price, but it's soft-edged, comfy, American. And for some people, well that's just dandy.
It comes in 2.4-litre four-cylinder and 3.0-litre V6 petrol flavours, and is impressively well specified too.
