Assets

Most engaging to drive of all the uber-saloons, great engine, sumptuous cabin, full of character.

Drawbacks

Frightening fuel consumption.

Verdict

Perfect for the company director who still loves driving.

Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

The front airbags have a two-stage operation to match the severity of a frontal impact, and side airbags for the front seats and curtain airbags for all occupants add extra crash protection. It's as much as you would expect in a modern high-end car, along with an overall standard of crash protection exceeding the toughest US requirements. All window glass is laminated.

MSP, Maserati Stability Programme, is a traction and stability control system fitted as standard, along with anti-lock, anti-skid and brakeforce distribution systems.

A Navtrak security tracking system is standard, as is a sophisticated alarm with door and volumetric sensors.
