Improved engine, more comfortable cabin, better to drive.
Profligate image, higher price.
Better to drive and more comfortable than ever, the latest Sport is a compelling package.

Every WAG's favourite ride is back. The Range Rover Sport has been given extensive mid-life surgery to freshen up the looks, spruce up the interior and sharpen up the road manners. But this is more than a facelift, because the changes beneath the skin are quite dramatic.
Two improved engines are on offer. First up there's the 3.0-litre TDV8 diesel - the biggest seller by a huge margin - which blends class leading power and torque (243bhp and 442lb-ft) with the potential for 30mpg fuel economy. But the range-topping model, and the one that really has to be driven to be believed, is the epic 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 which packs a 500bhp punch and the sort of performance that'll blow your Jimmy Choos off.
Most striking though is the improved interior which, even in the Sport's most basic trim, is a much higher-end, more luxurious place to spend time than it was on the outgoing model. Land Rover can fearlessly raise the quality of the Sport further than it ever dared before because its halo model - the Range Rover - has been upgraded even further, leaving a decent gap between the two.
Pricing for the Range Rover Sport ranges from £44,895-£61,995.
