Jeep Wrangler Review

Safety and Security2 out of 5

The Wrangler has never had ESP stability control before, but it comes as standard on the 2007 car. It includes brake assist, traction control and technology to help prevent a rollover.

Beyond that it's pretty basic equipment such as twin front and side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and head restraints on the second row of seats. Speed-activated central locking is also a first for the Wrangler. UK cars get Jeep's 'Freedom Top' fitted as standard which consists of a number of plastic roof panels which can be removed at your whim. A less substantial fabric top is available as a dealer fit option.
