Jaguar XKR (2009-) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 4 out of 5

Summary of the Jaguar XKR (2009-)

Price Range: £69,505 to £78,400

Assets

Fantastic performance, great to drive, glamorous looks.

Drawbacks

Expensive to run, ride can be quite firm in the 'Dynamic' setting.

Verdict

The XKR is furiously fast, fun to drive, yet still comfortable and sumptuous when you just want to cruise. It's a great GT.

Jaguar XKR Review

Comfort and Equipment5 out of 5

Despite the firmer ride, the XKR is a superbly comfortable car in which to travel long distances, thanks to some great new electrically adjustable sports seats and a reduction in the admittance of wind and road noise. Just spare a thought for anyone ordered to sit in the back: it's a form of slow torture for anyone over the age of six.

Little touches like the alcantara on the roof lining and A-pillars, and the clearer dials and improved leather stitching make for a really cosseting environment. A great stereo and jaguar's touch screen infotainment system add to this, with a high level of standard equipment all round.
