Not as good as main rivals, but still a decent car.
It's not particularly fantastic but not as bad as you might think for a 3.7-litre engine.
Fuel economy over the combined cycle is about 26mpg while the CO2 emissions are between 249 to 257g/km depending on the transmission. The G37 won't be cheap to insure either.
