Well-equipped, cheap, roomy, economical, five-year warranty.
Looks dull, very slow with auto gearbox, noisy at high speeds.
Not fashionable, but a practical, cheap and usable runabout.

All versions have twin front and side airbags, three rear three-point seatbelts, Isofix child seat mounting points, height-adjustable head restraints and disc brakes all round, good for a car this price.
There's no Euro NCAP crash test result as yet: Hyundai promises that the i10 is stronger than the old Amica, but it does still feel a little flimsy and lightweight. We'd be surprised if it achieved a five-star score.
All models have central locking, with Comfort versions adding remote locking. There's no alarm, but cars like this don't tend to be attractive to thieves or joyriders anyway.
