Well packaged, roomy, comfortable, ultra-modern, clever new twin-spark i-DSI engine, fine economy, refined.
Looks sporty but isn't, Honda's HMM-S CVT box an acquired taste, performance and handling could be sharper.
New-era Honda supermini with style, space and smart new super-eco engine that's very big in Japan.

Honda has one of the best records for reliability so there's little reason to think the Fit will go astray. Its twin-spark i-DSI engine is brand new (and will be reworked for European duty) but you can expect it to be as dependable as night following day. In the quality department, Hondas are generally very well presented, especially inside, where plastics, trim and so on are usually a level up on the norm. The Fit follows that pattern, with a well-screwed-together dashboard, high-grade seat and door coverings and sexy dimpled trim for steering wheel, handbrake and so on.
