Category: Compact MPV
Price Range: £17,200 to £21,020
Roomy, versatile, well made.
Front middle seat isn't actually very useful.
Takes the strain out of family life.

The FR-V scores four out of five for adult occupant protection in the Euro NCAP crash tests, backed up by three out of five for child occupants and three out of four for pedestrian protection. Not bad, but room for improvement in a car that's very much a passenger-carrying vehicle. Anti-lock brakes, Brake Assist, electronic brakeforce assistance and stability control are all standard.
Driver, passenger and side airbags are fitted, along with front seatbelt pretensioners. There are Isofix child seat mounting points on three seats: two in the rear, one in the front.
All FR-Vs come with central locking, an alarm and an immobiliser.
