Honda FR-V Review

Reliability and Quality4 out of 5

It's a Honda. That means it's been well put together, using good materials, and will last very well. It also means that if you're looking at a used FR-V the chances are it will have been owned by a sensible person who's looked after it well.

Don't mistake lightness - in the way the doors shut, for instance - for poor quality. Hondas tend not to have the engineered-in heaviness that makes some German cars seem sturdier than they actually are. That said, the Germans have a knack with leather that seems to elude Honda, and the seat fabric used in cars without leather upholstery isn't particularly pleasing to touch.

The FR-V is another fine example of Honda thinking the whole car through properly, from the overall design to the smallest details.
