Summary of the Honda CR-V (1997-2002)

Price Range: £19,725 to £26,210

Assets

Plenty of style, plus space and practicality too.

Drawbacks

Better on-road than off. Prices still high.

Verdict

Not just a lifestyle plaything, but a usable and stylish machine. Relaibility all-but guaranteed, too.

Honda CR-V Review

Safety and Security4 out of 5

Heavyweight construction and twin door beams are important safety factors, while driver and passenger airbags and ABS brakes are standard fit. Security measures are not so impressive. Despite being an obvious target for thieves, the CR-V has only remote central locking and an engine immobiliser for protection.
