Honda CR-V Review

On the road4 out of 5

The driving position is excellent and the controls are easy to use. In theory the CR-V may be a compromise between a car and a 4x4, but on the road it never feels anything less than at home. Tight, car-like handling, no body roll to speak of, the CR-V is a gas to drive on the road. However, despite automatically switching to four-wheel drive in the right conditions, off-roading is not its strong point.

No worries when it comes to overtaking or keeping up with traffic, and on the motorway, too, the CR-V is very refined. Its 126bhp 2.0-litre engine is more than up to the job, getting to 60mph in around 10 seconds and feeling very eager. Just like a car in fact...
