Honda's reputation here is excellent, so the Civic should prove to be a trouble-free ownership prospect. It's one of Honda's biggest sellers and, like all Hondas, enjoys the confident reassurance of a 3-year/90,000 mile warranty. Since its 2001 launch the Civic, along with most other Hondas, has regularly been finishing near the top of customer satisfaction and reliability surveys. However, while actual quality is very good, some trims are just a bit too plasticky and flimsy - it's no VW Golf, particularly inside.
