Honda has a superb reliability record, and the Civic is outstanding in this respect. It's well made too, if not as classily finished or as solid as a VW Golf. Owners report very high levels of satisfaction in surveys, and Honda aftersales service is generally very good. No complaints - only minor problems with trim have been noted.
