Euro NCAP has confirmed that the Honda Accord is one of the safest cars in its class. It has received the maximum five stars for adult occupancy safety, four for children safety and a class first - three stars for pedestrian safety.
No surprise, then, that the Accord comes equipped with a long list of standard safety gear: eight airbags, active head restraints, ESP and an electronic program called EPS that tugs the steering wheels in the direction to help you catch a slide.
