Ford Focus Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

Ford remains proud of the fact that the Focus is one of the top 10 cars in Euro NCAP crash tests. It achieved the full five stars for occupant protection, with four for child protection (with Ford's approved child seats) and two for pedestrian protection. All Focuses come with twin front and side airbags, curtain airbags, ESP and hazard warning lights that illuminate under heavy braking.

Optional active safety features include tyre pressure sensors, voice-recognition for some controls, Bluetooth integration and relatively affordable adaptive headlamps that swivel when cornering.

All cars come with remote central locking, deadlocks and an alarm system.
