Affordable, compact, roomy, user-friendly.
Rather spartan.
Obviously a van with seats and windows, but it's cheap, cheerful and practical.

The Fiat Qubo feels as spacious inside as the larger Citroen Berlingo Multispace, thanks to its high roof, uncluttered corners and flat floor. There's plenty of room for three in the back seats, though they are rather upright. The loadbay is big and square, with a low, flat loading lip and full-width tailgate.
The Qubo would be well-suited to a wheelchair-carrying conversion or other specific-use modification. Its drawback is that the tailgate needs a lot of space behind to be opened fully, and when at full height, it may be difficult for a small or wheelchair-bound person to pull it down again. A pair of vertically-split, side-hinged rear doors are optional, however.
The sliding side doors are manually-operated, but light and easily-operated.
It's a bit short on storage/stowage areas, though there is a big glovebox. The rear seats split 60:40 and can be removed completely to open up a 2,500-litre flat load bay. With the rear seats in position, there's still a useful 650 litres, or 350 litres under the sturdy parcel shelf. Shame the load-bay's not long enough for the Qubo to double as a camper van, though.
Basic models, badged Active, have power steering, electric front windows, the Blue & Me communications system and remote central locking.
Dynamic models add roof bars, anodized aluminium interior trim, body-coloured door mirrors and bumpers, 16" alloy wheels, electrically adjustable/heated door mirrors, a lumbar/height-adjustable driver's seat, a front seat armrest, climate control and fog lights.
Further options include tinted glass, metallic paint, carpet mats, aluminium kick-plates and parking sensors, as well as carriers for skis, bikes and windsurfers.
