Price Range: £9,755 to £12,350

Verdict

Obviously a van with seats and windows, but it's cheap, cheerful and practical.

Fiat Qubo Review

Overview4 out of 5

Sometimes a car lives up to its name particularly well: the Qubo has a high, square and remarkably cube-like cabin. It's basically a van with rear doors, seats and windows.

Despite this, it's cute and likeable. Smaller than the Doblo and the Multipla, the Qubo is short and compact, yet roomy for its size. It's comfortable and has an appealing no-frills ethos.

Engine choices are Fiat's super-economical 1.3-litre diesel engine and the 1.4 petrol, with Dualogic six-speed transmission optional with the former.

Two specification levels are on offer, Active and Dynamic, plus an extensive range of accessories and aftermarket items to aid load-carrying and other specific needs.

The Qubo will have a sister model, the Citroen Nemo Multispace. Both vehicles were developed from the Fiat Grande Punto's underpinnings.
