Ferrari 430 Review

Safety and Security4 out of 5

Secretly Ferrari confesses it would have loved to have stripped the Scuderia of both its airbags and other weighty safety systems, but the truth is its customers would never have worn it. The Scuderia is both strong and safe. Indeed if you put the manettino into its most defensive, bad-weather setting, it's as docile as a snoozing Labrador.

You can, of course, turn off all the electronic safety nets and land yourself in more trouble than you could believe in less time than you could imagine, but it would never happen by accident. Indeed you will be at greatest risk when you first step out of the Scuderia into another car and fail to recalibrate your brain.
