Performance from roaring V8. Handles pretty well too. Should be well equipped and good value
Doesn't feel as well built as a 911. Left-hand-drive only. Manual gearbox industrial, auto 'box poor. Interior quality not up to European standards.
A proper sports car with a lot of character. Practical enough for daily use.

The driving position is fine, adjustable for most bodies, and there's good cabin space for two. Cornering hard, the seats aren't the most supportive in the supercar world, but their comfort is good the rest of the time. Wind noise is reasonably suppressed, but those huge tyres do slap and drum on coarse surfaces. Use the powerful stereo to drown it, which comes with CD and MP3 playback as standard too.
The equipment count is high for the price - electric seats, leather, targa roof on the coupé and electric top on the convertible (due late 2005), xenon headlamps, comprehensive instruments and trip computer. There's even a head-up display, which normally shows speed, revs, stereo info and (if you've got the optional system) navigation turn arrows. But you can also switch it to a track mode, which shows peak cornering g-forces.
