Aston Martin DB7 (1994-2004) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 3 out of 5

Summary of the Aston Martin DB7 (1994-2004)

Price Range: No data available

Assets

Looks, appealing cabin, Vantage's handling and engine, exclusivity.

Drawbacks

Manual transmission is clunky. Non-Vantage car's handling no match for rivals. Cramped for tall drivers.

Verdict

A lovely object, and a pretty fine car.

Review

Comfort and Equipment2 out of 5

Assuming you aren't too big to fit in there, the DB7 is comfortable. The seats are well-upholstered and adjust electrically (the Vantage's seats are more supportive during hard driving), the suspension offers a very smooth ride by sports-car standards and noise suppression is good. Tall people will find the driving position cramped and their heads will brush on the roof. The rear seats are hardly serious except for tiny children, but the boot is plenty big enough for two people going on holiday.

Equipment-wise, the DB7 is showing its age: no sat nav, Bluetooth kit or suchlike, and a CD autochanger was only optional.
