The 3.0 V6 is greedier than some of its rivals, with fuel consumption dropping as low as 15mpg around town, although the smaller 2.0 and 2.5-litre versions fare better. Servicing costs are on a par with rivals'; some independent Alfa specialists can be expensive, but it's worth paying for their knowledge and support.
