Dodge Journey (2008-) Review

Category: Large MPV 3 out of 5

Summary of the Dodge Journey (2008-)

Price Range: £16,800 to £22,700

Assets

Practical, easy-to-use rear-seating system: plenty of kit; good value for money.

Drawbacks

Bouncy ride, unsupportive seats, noisy engine around town, poor handling.

Verdict

It's not wonderful to drive but if you have a large family, the roomy cabin makes this MPV fit for purpose.

Dodge Journey Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

The Dodge Journey hasn't been through the voluntary Euro NCAP crash tests yet but there's a plethora of safety systems to help keep you out of trouble.

ESP, electronic roll mitigation, anti-lock brakes, Brake Assist, all-speed traction control, hill start assist, trailer sway control are all included as standard-fit items. The design also includes side guard door beams in front and rear doors.

You also get multi-stage front airbags, low-risk deployment front passenger airbag, front seat-mounted side airbags and side curtain airbags on all three rows of seats.
