No posh BMW is ever going to be cheap to run, but the engines are quite economical and they need minimal servicing. Oil-change intervals vary according to the car's use - the service indicator shows when a change is needed - but BMW says between 14,500 and 18,750 miles is typical. Air filters and spark plugs stay in for 62,000 miles.
