Review

Used Value3 out of 5

Depreciation is quite low, because BMW convertibles are always in demand. As ever, open cars are worth more in the summer when demand is high, so buy at the beginning of the year when prices are low and the car has just become, effectively, a year older. It certainly isn't cheap, but your money buys you a beautifully built, good-looking convertible that's comfortable, refined and great fun to drive. The rival Volvo C70 and Saab 9-3 are cheaper for comparable versions, but they don't have the class and completeness of the BMW. And next to the Mercedes-Benz CLK Cabriolet, the BMW looks a bargain.
