Price Range: No data available

Verdict

The fun convertible that can realistically double as a small family car; more fun than a Megane

Review

Reliability and Quality3 out of 5

The folding metal roof is made by German firm CTS, which also supplies Mercedes with roofs for the SL and SLK, rather than Pininfarina, which makes the roofs for the 206 CC. This should mean fewer teething troubles, failure of the electric folding mechanisms, leaks and so on, all problems with the smaller car at first. However, the mainstream 307 has suffered a number of glitches with its complex electronic and electric systems, as well as minor trim and finish defects, which have been bound to affect the CC. That said, the cars we have experienced appear well screwed-together with a better level of quality than hatchback versions.
