Striking looks; high equipment levels; decent sound system; a lot of car for the money.
Unforgiving suspension; cabin quality unconvincing.
A bit of an oddball, but might just make sense if you hang on for the diesel engine - or alternatively, the CTS-V.

It may have some novelty value, we suppose, but don't expect the CTS to make much of an investment. Used car buyers aren't exactly queuing up for large, fuel-thirsty petrol-engined saloons right now, and those few who are after a second-hand luxury car prefer the German offerings.
We can't help but be pessimistic about residual (resale) values. Other Cadillacs tend to achieve between 27% and 35% of the original price after three years/36,000 miles and we don't expect this latest addition the line-up to be any different.
