Low-cost Hyundai package.
Engine lacks punch, noisy bumpy ride.
The Amica is excellent value for money and satisfies all the criteria for a city car. It's less at home on the open road, however, and not the best choice for frequent motorway driving.

As parking spaces become ever harder to find, the new breed of small, sub-supermini, city cars is becoming ever more popular. Their low prices probably help, too. The Amica, which was only on sale for a couple of years, was certainly very reasonably priced for a five-door car with substantial space inside. The styling's not as cute as that of the Daewoo Matiz, but it's modern and functional, and was good value for money.
