Citroen Nemo Multispace (2009-) Review

Category: Compact MPV 3 out of 5

Summary of the Citroen Nemo Multispace (2009-)

Price Range: £9,995 to £11,795

Assets

Roomy and practical, easy to fold and remove seats, inexpensive to own and run.

Drawbacks

Choppy ride, not particularly stylish, short on equipment.

Verdict

Styling will divide opinion, but the Nemo is an interesting and practical alternative to a traditional MPV.

Citroen Nemo Multispace Review

Safety and Security3 out of 5

There are no crash test results for the Nemo Multispace (or close relation Fiat Qubo) from Euro NCAP as yet. However, we expect that it should score as well as the larger Berlingo Multispace, another Citroen van-based MPV, which was awarded four stars for adult occupants, three for child occupants and two for pedestrian protection.

And while it's true that there are MPVs that come more extensively equipped than the Nemo Multispace, it's worth remembering that this is a less expensive vehicle and has been built to a tight budget.

So standard safety kit includes ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution, Isofix child seat mounting points, plus front passenger and side airbags.

It also comes fitted with an immobiliser and automatic door locking when the vehicle is moving.
