Category: Large MPV
Price Range: £22,995 to £29,795
Comfortable; roomy; easy to drive; cheap to buy.
Removable seats are heavy; some reliability concerns; no side curtain airbags
Good value for money as an all-purpose people-mover

Cheap to buy in the first place, but bear in mind that it's not going to hold its value as well as an Espace - still, if bought on a low-rate or even 0% finance scheme, with cashback, monthly outgoings should be as low as it gets for an MPV this size.
Citroen servicing and maintenance work is cheaper than most, which also helps towards low insurance.
Fuel economy is good from the diesel models (40.9 mpg from the HDI 120, 39.8mpg from the HDI 136) though the 2.0 petrol does just 31.4mpg (29.4mpg with the auto gearbox).
carbon dioxide emissions from these models are 182g/km, 188g/km, 213g/km and 229g/km respectively - watch out for the £25-a-day London congestion charge and highest-rate road tax with the Band G 2.0 auto.
