For all its size, the C8 is very easy to manoeuvre, with light steering and a good driving position. Parking sensors help, though& There are a couple of large blind spots to the rear, depending on height/position of the driver, but by and large, the big windows give good visibility.
Although the suspension is quite softly sprung, the C8 can corner neatly, with only minimal wallowing when pushed hard - it's very adept for a huge van-like machine.
Most buyers will opt for the diesel engine - we really can't argue a case for the petrol, except, perhaps, as a bargain-basement second-hand purchase - and both versions (120bhp and 136bhp) are strong, quiet and smooth. The HDI 120 can do 112mph and 0-60 in 12.9 seconds, the HDI 136 118mph and 0-60 in 11.4 seconds.
