The Citroen C8 has two major things going for it: it's very big and it's very cheap. With prices from under £20,000 - even before Citroen's ongoing cashback deals - it's a positive bonus that it's also attractive to look at (as MPVs go, at least), well-equipped and comfortable to ride in. It seats seven in standard form, with an eight-seat layout a no-cost option.
The sister model to the Peugeot 807, the C8 comes with the same 2.0i petrol (143bhp) and 2.0HDI diesel (120bhp or 136bhp) engines, and the option of an automatic gearbox with the petrol engine. Specification levels are LX (taxi driver), SX (company car driver) and Exclusive, the with-everything model best-suited for family use, and worth paying extra for - even the most expensive 2.2 HDI 136 Exclusive is less than £25,000.
