Sporty looks and excellent fuel economy are strong points, but it's not the best-value C2 in the range.
Citroens have never held their value well, and this C2 HDI VTS should be no exception to this rule. Sure, there may be some attractive discounts and incentives at sale time, but when you can drive away in a brand-new C2 for less than £8,500, usually with 0% finance, a year's free insurance, and a grand or so cash-back, no-one's going to pay much for a second-hand one, however well-equipped. There won't be much back from that £13,595 (let alone the £16,500 of our test car) three years down the line.
