Low running costs; no (direct) emissions; safety equipment; drives like a real car.
Emissions from electricity generation; requires access to charge points; limited range.
One of the first cars to make electricity a genuine alternative to the internal combustion engine.

The C1 - like its Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107 siblings - is built at a Toyota-designed factory with the same quality benchmarking that has earned the Japanese company its reputation for reliability.
Panel gaps are tight and constant across the car's exterior and the car seems to have signs of quality all over, such as doors that shut with an agreeable thunk.
Inside, the quality of the plastics in the cabin is what you'd expect from an inexpensive city car and the cloth seat fabrics seem pretty durable.
But of course the C1 has an aftermarket electric powertrain that's been fitted elsewhere. It's relatively new technology, and it's not tried and tested, which leaves some uncertainty about the C1's future reliability.
