The Citroen C-Crosser is built by Mitsubishi - known for making tough, durable 4x4s - and it's powered by a Mitsubishi engine, which has proved dependable in other models.
Inside, the cabin shares architecture with the Mitsubishi Outlander. The design lacks flair, although it's well screwed together. The plastics are better than the original Mitsubishi's and the Exclusiv model we tested featured high quality leather seating and robust-looking switchgear that felt like it will stand the test of time.
