Citroen C-Crosser Review

Comfort and Equipment4 out of 5

First off it's important to stress Citroen claims the C-Crosser is a 5+2 and not a seven-seater. The seats in the rear are little more than glorified deck chairs, but they do have an advantage over the competition. The rear seats are only really suitable for children but they can seat adults for short journeys.

Otherwise there's plenty of space for a family of five with generous headroom, elbow room, and a great big boot with one-touch flat-folding seats. The floor is high, but the luggage area is flat and easily accessed via a two-part tailgate.

There's two trim levels to choose from, the VTR+ and Exclusiv.

VTR+ has climate and cruise control as standard, as well as 16-inch alloys and a six- speaker sound system. Upgrade to the range-topping Exclusiv (+£2,700) and the C-Crosser gains Xenon lamps, rear parking sensors, 18-inch alloys and heated leather seats.
