Chrysler 300C (2005-2008) Review

Category: Executive 3.5 out of 5

Summary of the Chrysler 300C (2005-2008)

Price Range: £27,600 to £32,500

Assets

Unique image, excellent value for money, more character than rivals, good Mercedes diesel V6.

Drawbacks

HEMI thirst, quality not on par with rivals, image may put some off.

Verdict

The 300C is an executive car like no other and will divide opinion. We love it - others will hate it.

Chrysler 300C Review

Safety and Security4.5 out of 5

There's no EuroNCAP crash test result yet, but the 300C received a 5-star rating in the American government's crash testing programme. Front, side and rear-side curtain airbags will keep passengers away from harm and standard-fit ESP and traction control will hopefully keep the 300C under control when needed. ABS with Emergency Brake Assist is also standard.

Standard-fit alarm and immobiliser should keep the thieves away - although the 300C's pure gangster presence could well put most wannabe car crooks off.
