Breathtaking driving experience, one of few cars that's good on both road and race-track, quality, history, design, lightness, performance
The ride's a bit shabby, comfort is poor, cramped cabin
If you're tempted by the pros, the cons won't matter; if you're put off by the cons, the pros won't - we're in the first of those camps

The Seven makes a great investment from new, but a difficult buy second-hand. The relatively low production numbers, and the fact that many are bought for light weekend use and/or as track-day toys and then kept long-term, mean few on the market at any given time. Even 15-year old cars regularly fetch £10,000-plus. If a Seven's much cheaper than that, chances are it has a problem. Check carefully for accident damage and proper repairs, as these things have been driven hard, at speed, on tracks.
