BMW 7 Series (1994-2002) Review

Category: Large Executive 3 out of 5

Summary of the BMW 7 Series (1994-2002)

Price Range: £53,695 to £68,800

Assets

Not expensive by class standards, well made, wide range, a good drive.

Drawbacks

Big-engined versions are still depreciating fast. Apart from rear room, offers little over the smaller BMW 5-Series.

Verdict

Competent but somewhat undistinguished.

BMW 7-Series Review

Used Value3 out of 5

Depreciation is very heavy for the bigger-engined versions, with the 728i and 735i the most desirable - or at least, the easiest to sell. There are very few takers for the V12-powered 750i, which can be bought ludicrously cheaply now considering its original new price.
