Comfortable, agile handling, refined diesel engine, performance.
Not quite as 'regal' as its main rival, the Merc S-Class.
Great to drive, great to sit in and a wonderful cruiser.

Let's get one thing straight: there is nothing on, or in, this new car that isn't of the highest quality. Everything, from inside and out, looks so well put together and that impression stays with you all the time that you are in the car. Things work, they are solid and they look well built.
So what can you expect with BMW ownership? There were complaints of electrical problems with the previous-generation 7-Series, but BMW says there will be no repeat performance with this model. In customer satisfaction surveys BMW has fared reasonably well - it finished 10th out of 28 in the 2008 JD Power survey - but it is still not on par with the Japanese car makers yet. However, there's no questioning the levels of quality in this car so it is hard to see owners being anything other than satisfied with their purchase.
