Bentley Brooklands (2008-) Review

Category: Large Executive 4.5 out of 5

Summary of the Bentley Brooklands (2008-)

Price Range: £236,400 to £236,400

Assets

Captivating power delivery, exquisite and spacious interior, handles well.

Drawbacks

Hugely expensive to buy and run, ride comfort merely adequate.

Verdict

Probably the most characterful Bentley of the last half century. Better than we could have hoped.

Bentley Motors Brooklands Review

Comfort and Equipment4.5 out of 5

This would have been the full five stars had the boot been a little bigger and the ride quality slightly more compliant, for this is the most spacious, luxurious and opulent coupe money can currently buy.

There's not just room in the back for two adults, unless those in the front are giants, there's room to sprawl back there. The seats front and back - made in-house by Bentley - are perhaps the most comfortable of any in the world and while a degree of wind noise betrays both the age of the car's basic design and pillarless construction, it's refined enough at all sane speeds for conversation to take place without raised voices.
