Summary of the Bentley Brooklands (2008-)

Price Range: £236,400 to £236,400

Assets

Captivating power delivery, exquisite and spacious interior, handles well.

Hugely expensive to buy and run, ride comfort merely adequate.

Verdict

Probably the most characterful Bentley of the last half century. Better than we could have hoped.

Bentley Motors Brooklands Review

Safety and Security4 out of 5

Cars like the Brooklands don't go to Euro NCAP for testing so there is no publicly available independent evidence of its crash worthiness. And it should be said its basic design dates back to the mid-90s before VW introduced their world class safety standards.

On the other hand - just look at how much metal it puts between you and anything you're going to hit.

It has, of course, six airbags and the usual assortment of primary safety features but, face it: if you're going to crash this car, it's the people in the car you're going to hit that you should be worrying about.
