Verdict

Fabulously distinctive, the TT is one of the most desirable cars of the last decade

Audi TT Coupe Review

Safety and Security3 out of 5

The roadster has scored a thoroughly respectable four stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests, though it recorded a fat zero for pedestrian protection. Driver, passenger and side airbags are standard, so are ABS brakes and a traction control system. Good security is provided by deadlocks, an engine immobiliser and alarm. Early TTs had dubious high-speed stability, but different suspension settings and a small (though ugly) rear spoiler have resolved that issue.
