Audi RS6 Avant Review

Running Costs3 out of 5

In the perverse world of supercars the Audi RS6 is, comparatively, dirt cheap to run.

Audi claims that the saloon betters the Avant estate by 0.1mpg with its 20.3mpg average. As far as carbon dioxide emissions go, the RS6 emits 331g/km, meaning VED Band G and the maximum 35% for anyone foolish enough to put the RS through the company's books. These are astronomical prices compared to more attainable sports cars, but real-world use should see owners frequently maintain double mpg figures, even around town.

Interestingly, those drivers who are hard on brakes and cover huge mileages might want to consider the ceramic discs, which only wear out after an incredible 190,000 miles.
