Looks better than the estate, ballistic performance, phenomenal V10 engine.
Not as engaging to drive as an M5, thirst hampers range.
Audi comes close to making a four-door Lamborghini.

We've had to wait an extra 10 months to drive a saloon derivative of its RS6, but Audi's engineers are quietly confident they've used the extra time wisely.
This saloon looks nothing short of fantastic: it's a proper Q-car and, finally, looks worthy of the Italian heart transplant that has resulted in it being powered by a Lamborghini engine.
Removing the Avant's elongated posterior has does wonders for the RS6's looks and lairy proportions - and those glorious squared rear wheel arches could have been stolen off the original ur-Quattro.
Under the bonnet, the RS6 saloon adopts the same 572bhp twin turbo 5.0-litre V10 that shares its roots with the unit that powers the Gallardo supercar.
And since the saloon's body is lighter than the estate's, the RS is marginally quicker, howling itself to 62mph 0.1 seconds faster than the Avant, now taking just 4.5 seconds. If you're feeling a bit reckless, you can also get Audi to tweak the limiter to increase the top speed from 155 to 175mph, leaving all those annoying German taxis behind on the autobahn.
The weight savings have also given the engineers a chance to tweak the suspension to address some of the criticisms of the estate. So have they finally cracked and taken the RS6 one step closer to being the car we always hoped?
