The RS6 comes with all the usual active and passive safety kit, including permanent four-wheel drive, ESP, ASR traction control, ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist, six airbags (two front, two side and two curtain) and Isofix mountings for a child seat.
As a variant of the A6, the RS6 doesn't have a separate Euro NCAP rating, which means the full five stars for occupant safety, four for child protection (with Audi's approved child seats), but just one star for pedestrian protection.
A Thatcham Category 1 alarm and immobiliser are also fitted to ensure that your expensive car doesn't end up in the hands of a car thief who thinks Christmas has come early.
