Audi claims the R8 V10 will have the best residual values in the class, though this is a class that has taken something of a hammering of late. Certainly the days when buying an R8 was almost an investment seem very long ago. Whether time shows it to lose value more or less slowly than a Porsche 911 Turbo or Aston DB9 should be almost an irrelevance. When you own a car this good, selling it should be the last thing on your mind.
