Audi Q5 Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

Audi expects a five-star Euro NCAP score, of course, and the Q5 has already performed well in the German ADAC and American IIHS crash tests.

Quite apart from the predictable handling, clever stability control (it even senses if roof bars are in place and if there is a load on the roof) and Quattro to keep you out of trouble in the first place, equipment also includes six airbags, Isofix child seat attachment points, seatbelt pre-tensioners and whiplash-protecting seatbacks and head restraints; full-length curtain airbags are optional, as are blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and adaptive headlamps. Daytime running lights are standard in the UK.
