Audi A6 Review

Running Costs3 out of 5

All versions of the A6 (except basic-specification) have always held their value well, but especially the diesels, and servicing is less costly than for the Mercedes E-class and BMW 5 series rivals. The diesels manage to combine speed and economy, and Audi claims that the 1.9 TDI 130 is the most economical car in the class, producing 46.9 mpg. It also scores well for carbon dioxide emissions (157 g/km), which means low company car tax - something that will be easy to calculate if you opt for the electronic logbook.
